ERICA KNAUF SANTOS
MANAGING ATTORNEY
Erica is a family law attorney in Seattle, Washington and founder of Knauf Santos Law, PLLC. She grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania and moved west for college after a year at John Carroll University in Ohio. In practice for years, Erica received undergraduate degrees from Central Washington University in Psychology (BS) and Primate Behavior (BA) with a minor in Anthropology, and her JD from Seattle University. Her family law practice has grown from a scrappy solo practice to a Goldilocks “just the right size”, boutique firm of attorneys and staff that it has grown into today.
Erica is a current Pro Tem Commissioner for King County Superior Court, a family law mediator, and tutor for the Rule 6 program at the Washington State Bar Association. As managing attorney, she oversees the direction of all cases, driving strategy and guiding the firm as it grows.
Outside of the law, she has served as a founding member on the board of Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest in Cle Elum, Washington, organized and directed Jane Goodall’s “Roots and Shoots” College Summit., volunteered for Pasado’s Safe Haven, and rescued displaced pets from hurricane Katrina. Erica and her husband have been together for years, and raise their four children, three sons and one daughter in the Seattle area. In her free time she enjoys working out on her Peloton bike and row, traveling, and shuffling her children to and from their activities.
